Lang Thi Le was born on November 16, 1915 in the Province of Phan Rang, South Vietnam. She married Phong Hang in 1934 and was blessed with six children, two of whom died in re-education camps during the Vietnam War.
Presently, Lang is survived by four children, Hoa, Hien, Hoanh, and Vinh Hang. In 1975 at the end of the Vietnam War, Vinh (Vinny) moved to the U.S.A. and became a citizen. Vinh sponsored his mother, and his sister and her children in 1991.
From 1991 until the present day, Lang resided with her daughter, Hoanh; her son-in-law, Terry Pettys; and her grandchildren, Trung and Martin.
Lang was a generous person doing whatever she could to help someone in need. She was a great prayer warrior, praying for family or anyone who needed God’s help. She demonstrated by words and actions her love for God and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In Lang’s latter days, due to poor health and full age, she was intensively cared for in her home by her daughter, Hoanh and grandson, Trung.
Lang will be fondly remembered by all of her loving family.
