LARRY NENSTIEL Celebration of Larry W. Nenstiel's life. Larry was born 73 years ago at his home in Riley County, Kan., Jan 21, 1938, to Waldo and Ethel (Wohler) Nenstiel. Larry went home to be with his Heavenly Father; daughter, Dawn Kurth; and son, Troy Nenstiel, July 1, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; daughters, Lori Hewitt and her husband, Curtis, and Aleina Richardson and her husband, Christopher; sister, Dorene Foster and her husband, Don; brother, Jared Nenstiel and his wife, Carolyn; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. After graduating from high school and completing airline agent training, Larry went to work for North Central Airlines in Chicago. Then he continued to work for other airlines which brought him to Las Vegas, Larry retired from working for Homeland Security as a Transportation Security Administration inspector Oct. 9, 2010. Larry's hobbies included travel, prospecting for gold and enjoying time with family and friends. Viewing will be 2-3 p.m. Saturday, July 9, with memorial service following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
