Heaven has gained a new angel, Lennie Flake Villanueva born on October 8, 1955 in Pampanga, Philippines; and departed peacefully in her sleep on September 10, 2023. Lennie migrated to the US in the early 80s after a scout suspected she had American roots and helped her prove her US birthright. She lived in Las Vegas for most of her life with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. When she retired, she relocated to her birthplace where she spent her final days enjoying life by remodeling her home, gardening, connecting with old friends and family, and vacationing with her husband.
Lennie was kind, generous, loving, and kept her family in the center. Those who knew Lennie, knows she loved to sing, was a wonderful cook, and loved to keep up with the latest fashion trends. She was a Hair Stylist for 40+ years and enjoyed making people feel their best. She was an easy-going person with an unforgettable laughter. She loved and admired her family above everything else and found the greatest joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren, often showering them with gifts, cooking their most favorite dishes, and spending time with them. She was always available and present for everyone no matter what the occasion, big or small. She is dearly loved and will be sorely missed, but her memory will live on through her family and friends.
She is survived by her devoted spouse, Martin, her beloved children: Cindy, Don, and Chino their respective partners: Vid, Tricia, and Thea, her cherished grandchildren: Jin, Aleah, Jadyn, Jevyn, Bella, Noah, and Muhammed; and great grandchildren: Xiomara, Faith, Arie, and Maia.
In memory of Lennie, a Funeral Expense Contribution fund has been arranged. Those who wish to honor Lennie's memory may contribute at https://everloved.com/life-of/lennie-villanueva/donate/.%C2%A0
Lennie Flake Villanueva has left us too soon, but she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity, reminding all of us to prioritize our families and cherish every moment with our loved ones.
