Leona Pauline Rose Whincup, 56, an office manager, of Las Vegas, passed away June 13, 2010. She was born June 12, 1954, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and was a 23-year resident of Nevada. Leona loved with all her heart her true love, David Briggs. She spent the last 10 years with him by her side. She was completely devoted to her daughter, Alicia, who she loved dearly. She enjoyed Native American artwork, shopping, going to casinos to play video poker and seeing shows on the Strip with her best friend, Milly, and sister, Linda.
