

Leonel served in the Mexican military, shortly after his service to his country, Leonel moved to the United States of America to pursue the American dream.
After two years, several family members joined him in Los Angeles around 1991 until 1999. Then he and his family in America joined his sister Argelia in Las Vegas, Nevada. That same year, Leonel found work at a brand new casino called the Paris. Leonel worked as a Banquet Steward, he loved his job, his coworkers and the property. He loved his job so much that he incorporated Eiffel Tower decorations into his room.
In 2010, Leonel adopted his nephew Lalo Acosta and brought him to Las Vegas to start his life in America. Today Lalo is a supervisor at a company in Las Vegas, he’s getting married and is starting a family!
Leonel was always thinking of improving the lives of his family. He helped his niece Fabiola Flores and his nephew Osvaldo Flores to make their dreams come true.
Leonel was always looking to improve his former community in Mexico, so he made numerous contributions to build a new church in his home town in Mexico, along with helping many others along the way. Leonel was a selfless man who put the needs of others before himself. He was the bridge between his family in Mexico and his family in the United States, to coordinate family gatherings and visits.
And so was for over 20 years in Las Vegas, until his passing on March 22, 2021 at 2:00am. Leonel was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his passing.
Leonel is survived by his best Friend and family: Lorenzo Miranda, Petra Harper, Gudelia Flores, Reyna Flores, Argelia Flores, Eliodoro Flores, Lilia Flores, Delia Flores, Ofelia Flores, Everardo Flores, Lina Flores and Delia Flores.
