

Lisa Lynn Maenza, lovingly known as Shibs, Shibbles, and Lee, passed away on December 31, 2025, in Henderson, Nevada, at the age of 44. She was surrounded by her fiancée and her closest friends Woody and Jennifer Baker.
Born on January 19, 1981, in Syracuse, New York, Lisa is survived by her devoted fiancée, Eric Hunter, with whom she shared 14 years of love, partnership, and companionship, along with their beloved dog, Marley. She is also survived by her father, Michael Shibley; her stepmother, Cheryl Shibley; her brother, Scotty Shibley; her sister, Sandra (Ryan) Candee; her niece, Amelia Candee; her cousin, Jill Donaldson; her uncle Kevin and aunt Debbie; and countless family members and friends, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Lisa dedicated over 20 years of her life to public service as a proud veteran of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, where she served with integrity, strength, and compassion. Prior to her law enforcement career, Lisa worked as a flight attendant and was honored to serve as the lead flight attendant for Presidential Candidate John Kerry during his 2004 campaign—an experience that reflected her professionalism and calm leadership.
She attended Keuka College in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, where her journey into adulthood and independence began.
Outside of work, Lisa found joy and peace in creativity. She loved painting, coloring, cross-stitching, diamond art, and reading—activities that reflected her thoughtful nature, patience, and artistic soul. She had a quiet way of expressing love through small details, handmade projects, and moments of calm shared with those she loved.
Lisa will be remembered for her strength, loyalty, creativity, and the deep love she gave to her family and friends. Her presence was steady, her heart generous, and her impact lasting. Though her time was far too short, the love she gave and the lives she touched will carry her memory forward always.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Church, located at 6001 W Oakey Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, 89146, US. The service is scheduled for January 19, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
