Lorena Magaly Perez, age 57, of Las Vegas, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, after a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on January 22, 1967, in San Francisco, California and has been a Las Vegas area resident for more than 35 years. Mrs. Perez worked as a Spa Supervisor for Wynn Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip for over 17 years. She was a fighter until the end, rallying several times in her battle.
Survivors include her husband and partner for 19 years, Kurt Stergar; children: Gabrielle Santoyo, Jesus (Flor) Santoyo, Jr., Jonathan Santoyo, Raina A. Batalon and Maile E. Batalon; grandchildren: Bella and Elias; parents Oscar (Erin Logan) Perez and Nohemy Lambert and sisters: Iliana Perez Ryan, Bridget (Robert) Brooks and Kaitlyn Perez.
Private family services are being planned. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lorena’s name are suggested to the Arbor Day Foundation. Arrangements by Palm Southwest Mortuary, Las Vegas, Nevada.
