Lori Lynn Cruden, 46, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2010. She was born Jan. 8, 1964, in Oxnard, Calif., and was a resident of Las Vegas since 1970. Lori is survived by her parents, Alexander "Sandee" and Marlene "Marti" Cruden; lifetime partner, Kurt Brown; brother, Brian Cruden; nieces, Amanda Peraza and Amy Cruden; grandniece, Scarlett Peraza; and her loving dog, "Athena." Lori was a passionate animal lover. She embraced life and loved the outdoors. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her dog, Athena, taking her to the mountains or the lake. Lori was always loving and caring. No matter what anyone needed, she was always there. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. God bless Lori for eternity. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Palm Mortuary, Summerlin location, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., in Las Vegas. Flowers are welcome. A private family interment will be at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas.
