He was always a joker and a thrill seeker. He passed on a college scholarship to join the Unites States Marine Corps.
And at one time while, living in Oklahoma he was observed riding two horses Roman style. He did so with a broken leg still in cast.
Luke graduated school and signed up in the Marine Corps. He experienced a six year hitch wherein he met Donna , his wife of 55 years.
Upon his discharge he joined the Clark County Sheriffs Department working for Floyd Lamb, Sheriff.
He them pursued a career in law enforcement. He became a lead investigator for the Clark County District Attorneys Office and he finally settled down and finished working for the State of Nevada Taxi Cab Authority as the chief Investigator.
However in 1990 he was forced to retire from a career that he loved as he had suffered several heart attacks.
Luke is survived by his wife Donna Wills, two sons Mike Wills and Chris Cook, his daughter Michelle Overton, ten Grandchildren, seven Great Grandchildren and his sister Joyce Bouchard. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
