Maria De Los Angeles Fuentes

Maria De Los Angeles Fuentes (Angeles or Angie), age 46, went to Heaven peacefully on June 24, 2017 at 10:30am due to a terrible battle with cancer and other complications. Her body remained on this earth but her sweet soul is now enjoying eternal peaceful life in heaven praising our Lord and Savior forever and ever. Angie was filled with the Holy Spirit and she lived a full life with wonderful blessings.

Angie was born July 19, 1970 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Alfredo and Liliana Figueroa. As a young girl in Guatemala, Angie was a remarkable daughter and outstanding student in school and college. Later, Angie married Steven Fuentes in Guatemala on December 29, 1989 and the very next day she began an extraordinary adventurous thrilling life that would take her to the most incredible experiences around the world. Angie devoted her life to love and protect her family beyond words can express.

Angie served as a dedicated US Air Force active duty military spouse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for an amazing 27 years, 5 months, 27 days…!!! Angie was the energy and driving force behind all her family successes, and the strong super glue that kept her family together through challenging times.

Angie was the very proud mom of two wonderful sons, Gabriel and Adrian Fuentes, grandmother of Adan Fuentes...and loving caretaker of her charming dog Tobey and playful cat Toki.

Angie was a very independent woman with many exceptional talents. Angie absolutely without a doubt loved working with flowers. Angie was known to be an expert world traveler and excellent connoisseur of International cuisine, had fantastic home cooking abilities and mostly she really loved to help people everywhere. Angie was a hard worker with an impeccable work ethic, a loyal friend, faithful wife, super mom, was extremely responsible and punctual, reliable, and always very honest with a brilliant personality.

Angie simply loved her extraordinary life…and she will always be remembered. Now in God’s Hands…we give God all Honor and Glory in Jesus name.
