Marie G. Menendez Rains

Marie Menendez Rains, 43, of Las Vegas, Nevada, went to heaven on February 5, in Santa Monica, California. She was born on September 21, 1971, in Puebla, Mexico, to Jesus and Lupi Menendez. She had one brother, Lacho Menendez. She was married to Jack Rains on November 2, 2014. She graduated from Del Norte High School and attended college while earning a graphic arts certificate. Marie maintained a job since the age of 16. She held many retail management positions and worked as a jewelry field training manager for JCPenney for the past eleven years. Marie loved traveling with her family, cooking, camping, riding motorcycles, watching UFC, and had a beautiful smile that could light up a room. Marie had a passion for jewelry and training people. She is survived by her husband Jack Rains; daughters Alexandra Torres and Amanda Rains; parents Jesus and Lupi Menendez; and brother Lacho Menendez. Simply stated, Marie was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Marie leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, February 20, at Palm Mortuary on Eastern.
