I remember being so nervous to talk to anyone our first day of Sophomore year when Marilyn and Toni made it so simple. We grew close, then apart, then back, like friends do. I love you with all of my heart and I mourn the time we could have spent with one another. But it’s okay Mary, We are bound to meet again 🩷.

Stephanie, I am so deeply saddened for you and your families loss. I can see that Marilyn was so very much loved by you, her family and friends. May the memories of the love you all shared with her comfort you now and in the days ahead.

It’s so sad that we can’t still  believe this happened to her!

Me and Marilyn were in orchestra together and she was the first person I was able to call my friend in that class. First day of my senior year we both sat up front and said we were going to be first and second chair all year, and then we both moved up a class at the same time. I loved seeing her everyday, and I hope she knows how much I cared about her even though we lost touch.

I came to know Marilyn from her mother. She was a little little girl and  I would see her grow over the years at various gatherings. To know Stephanie is to know how huge her heart is for her daughters. I'm heartbroken for the whole family. I shed tears for a life full of promise that left us far far too soon. May the angels hold her close in their embrace.

Marilyn and I first met each other in our sophomore year of highschool through a mutual friend. I always thought that she was the coolest person ever since we met. We didn't get the chance to talk much during that year and when we were working together at Round Table Pizza when I was her Shift Supervisor. Our friendship went through a lot of ups and downs with normal teenaged drama but we got the chance to fully reconnect with each other recently, with our conversation being about our current lives and her deeply apologizing for the wrong doings she might've caused, which made us closer than ever. 

She was the sweetest angel and brought light with her infectious smile and laughter not only to my twin's life but to all of the people around her, including myself. And because of that, in her honor, I plan on getting a tattoo in a month for her. 

I just want to thank her for all of the memories and fun times that we had together while being one of the only people who supported me for who I was when no one else did.

I will always be there for you and love you like you did for me for many years to come. :)

I showed up at her job at the pizza joint randomly and wanted to get a picture of her and she was so against it that she ran from the camera laughing. This was a core memory for me of one of many fun times we had

I am devastated for this tragic loss. Marilyn was my student in Chemistry in the 2022-2023 school year. She was a bright star and lovely soul. I greatly enjoyed her presence in the classroom and in my life as a teacher. She made me smile every day. I loved her style of dress and her way in the world. We laughed a lot in class and she often came by to say hello and catch up about life the following year, even though she was no longer my student . She was one of those students that gave me great hope for the future us as a society. I knew she would be great presence in the lives of everyone who knew her and would get to know her. I am deeply saddened that she will not get to see that future. I am wishing her family the greatest comfort possible in such a terrible time as this. Sending you so much Love. Marilyn and I were friends since our junior year of high school. Marz was cool, artistic, and accepting of others. We’ve been through some rough times together but we still managed to stay friends and continued to show support for each other. She’s shown me the importance of friendship and I will miss her dearly. The memories that I have of her will never be forgotten, I’ll miss you forever Marz. 🖤🦇

I knew you were a great, amazing and fun person, I definitely will cherish this memory of us since it was when we mosh pit to one of my favorite bands. 
Although I knew you for a bit, hope you like the couple concerts and memories we made, just know I will forever remember them.

I met Marilyn in elementary school. She was one of my best friends. Always so nice and kind to everyone around her, I always remember her wearing her Melanie Martinez shirts and telling me all about how she was her favorite artist, we used to take our Littlest Pet Shop toys to school and show them to each other and play with them during recess. I lost contact with Marilyn after elementary school and reconnected with her again our senior year in high school when I found out we went to the same school. She’ll be missed dearly.

I met her in the 3rd grade. We were there for each other when everything else seemed to be crazy. Though we didn’t talk much, she was always someone that I knew I could talk to and trust. I miss her everyday she is gone, she is beautiful and she is precious. God just gained another angel and I know she’ll never not be with us.

Marilyn was such a great soul and a good friend, even people who didn’t know her well have great things to say about her. She impacted so many lives and what happened is a tragedy that wasn’t deserved and she will be missed by many. I hope for a healthy grieving process to all the family and friends who will grieve and remember Marilyn as she was.
