Martha S. Camarena, 73, a 25-year resident of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 2:37am at St. Rose Siena Hospital from complications during surgery after experiencing a aneurysm. She was married to the love of her life, Carlos Camarena, and raised their two children, Sandra and Carlos, in their loving home in Glendale, California. Martha loved to cook and was known for her delicious and authentic Mexican food. She loved to go shopping, her swim class, slot machines, happy hour, and spending time with her family—especially with her grandchildren. She loved her life in Las Vegas. The friends that she adopted as her family brought her a lot of happiness. Martha was preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Julia (Montoya) Sanchez; and her husband Carlos Camarena. Martha is survived by her daughter Sandra (Oscar) Palma; son Carlos (Gabriela) Camarena; grandchildren Oscar Palma, CJ Camarena, Robert Camarena, Christian Palma, Ruben Camarena, and Amber Camarena; and sisters Blanca Gorron, Sylvia Lopez, and Sofia Campos.
