Martin Jay Bress, age 73, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. Martin was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 28, 1950 to Herbert and Edith {Horwitz} Bress. At the age of three his family moved to Los Angeles.
Martin and June Triner were together for over forty years, and married for twenty years.
Martin came to Las Vegas in 1971, and proceeded (with partners) to create Alias Smith and Jones as well as the Food Factories. Martin and family returned to Culver City, California in 1981, and there he created D.B. Cooper's Restaurant and Bar. In 1999 Martin retired and moved back to Las Vegas.
He is survived by his loving wife June Bress; son Landon Bress; daughter Sarah Bress; sisters Roni, and Cindy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service for Martin will be held Friday, October 20, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at King David Cemetery, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120.
