Maxine M. Marcus, 79, a retired social worker, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was born on November 12, 1936 in Washington, DC to Allen and Gertrude Marcus (nee Wein) and was a Las Vegas resident for 18 years. Maxine is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, Leslie Guessford of Henderson; brother, Yale (Carolyn) Marcus of Berlin, MD, and nephew Adam (Barbara) Marcus of Atlanta, GA. Burial will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, FL. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to the American Heart Association. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
