

Nancy (Bragiel) Ruzycki, 69, of Stallion Mountain in Las Vegas, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, after suffering from a massive stroke. She was born in Hammond, Indiana, to Joseph and Josephine (Czaja) Bragiel on July 5, 1947. Nancy attended Clark High School in Whiting, IN, and married her grade school sweetheart, Leon Ruzycki, on October 7, 1967. They resided in Calumet City, IL, for 40 years, where Nancy enjoyed being a homemaker and beautician prior to retiring to Las Vegas in 2007. Nancy is survived by her husband Leon (her "Lee-Lee"); their three daughters, Sheri and her husband Joe White, Robyn and her husband Scott Baumeister, both of Las Vegas, and Jaclyn and her husband Michael LaPidus, of Chicago IL; her five grandsons, Tyler, Austin, Logan, Caden & Hudson; her brother James Bragiel and his wife Susan of Hammond IN; her brother and sister in law, Casimir and Karen Ruzycki of Highland IN; and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Nancy was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Andrew Parish in Calumet City, IL prior to joining Holy Family Catholic Church in Las Vegas. A Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 13 at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery in the King David Chapel from 10am-1pm with her Service following at 1pm.
