I tried to send a video recording, but the file would not send so I’m writing insteadI want to share a few words to honor my cousin Nicole.
And even though we didn’t grow up especially close, the times we shared always felt deeply warm. She had this wide, open spirit—and no matter how much time had passed, she was genuinely curious about my life, about who I was becoming. That kind of heart—it stays with you.
I feel her presence as a bright light  
while it’s hard to understand why she had to leave, I hold a trust that her soul needed to continue its journey in a different way. That there is  something big for  she was stepping into as a soul that she couldn’t here in this incarnation and she needed to go to  to  be free —something she couldn’t move through here—and that now, she’s in a place where that healing can happen in the way it’s meant to.
So I offer this blessing:
Nicole,
May your soul be held in the light of love.
May the beings walking with you now guide you home—
home to peace, to joy, to the vastness of who you are.
May your journey be filled with warmth, with reunion,
with the beauty of everything you truly are, beyond the known and unknown.
And may your spirit be free—shining in its full expression,
held in love, and never forgotten.🌹❤️

I first met Nicole at Caramel  in 2005 where we worked together.  It was my first job as a manager and she was the lead waitress.  We connected due to both being from New York, and Nicole made it easy for me with her warm smile and friendliness.  She was great at her job and as a young manager finding my sea legs she became a person I could lean on.  She always handled all the big VIPs and execs, and never once was she stressed out..Nicole had complete grace under pressure and always did whatever she had to do to get the job done.  A complete rock.  We became friends and were pretty close.  I tried to take her to some of the venues that I worked at later as my lead waitress and trainer but she always had the same answer - "Johnny I love ya but Im so happy at Alibi, " She truly loved her job at Alibi.  I spent a few holidays at her home with her family and they were all just like Nicole...kind, welcoming, and all with big hearts, and full of laughter.  Nicole had the biggest heart of anyone.  She lived life in a positive way.  She had the greatest smile, loved music and to dance.  We both loved old NY  freestyle music !  Nicole didn't have a bad bone in her body and loved life.  Nicole you will be missed by anyone who's life you ever touched, you were so compassionate and understanding.   Your soul was pure and you knew how to go about your time on earth.  We all love you.  Sympathy and prayer for your family during this difficult time.

Nicole was someone who I enjoyed working with at Alibi Lounge at night. Every song that plays in the lounge especially 80-90s music she always knew all the words and I would always laugh because she’s so good at remembering. She was great at her job because she had the most amazing personality and she was so beautiful inside and out. I know she loved to shop for clothes and shoes  especially with Tyra and  loved to travel. She always told me her family meant a lot to her especially her mom. I remember sometimes on her days off she would take her mom to a lovely dinner in Aria and  bring her to the lounge to say hi to everyone. I will truly miss Nicole deeply and I’m so happy I got to work with her for over 5 years at Alibi. Knowing Nicole is a blessing and I’m so thankful.

Nicole was a light; always smiling, taking life as it came.  She had style, class and character.  She’ll forever be missed, until we see her again.

I am very grateful to have met you, my Angel one of the most beautiful kindest souls ever.  I know one day we’ll meet again. Te amamos mucho ♥️

Sometimes you wish the camera quality was better, to have captured the moment more clearly and vividly. But, nothing truly compares to have been able to celebrate you this birthday Nicole. 
Grateful and forever thankful to have been apart of your journey here. 
We know you stand next to us everyday, guiding us. 
Admirable. Pure. Beautiful.
We will see each other soon my friend.

Some people leave a mark so bright, even time can’t dim it. You were that kind of person—always smiling, always bringing light into every room. Your energy was pure magic: uplifting, comforting, and contagious. You had this beautiful way of making people feel seen, loved, and supported, even on your worst days.

You were the kind of friend that made life feel a little easier, a little lighter. I still hear your laugh every time I think of you. 
Thank you for being a bright spot in this world.  I feel incredibly lucky I was able to say you were my friend.
