On Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at 6:05 p.m., Ny Tan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother, passed away at the age of 82 years young surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on December 02, 1929 (Lunar birth date of 10/03/1929) in Chow Chou, China to Tan Kim Chui (Father), and Thea Ming Kiev (Mother). In 1950, he married his soul mate and partner for life, Lim Yiv at the age of 21 in Cambodia.
Ny enjoyed the simple joys of life. Nothing was more precious and valuable to him than his family and close friends. He is survived by his wife, Yiv Tan; eight children: Song, Leng, Giet, Ken, Chhoun, Rosanna, Joseph and Julia; nine grandchildren: Tom, Mary, Lily, Bryan, Jenny, Eileena, Christopher, Annie and Maylee; and two great-grandsons: Ty Grr and Enzo.
