Odette Amara Kattak Born April 4, 1930 in North Bergen, NJ. A statistical typist for Sterling Drug, Mobile Oil, David Greenberg and Associates and retired from KPMG Short Hills, NJ office. She moved to Las Vegas in 1990. The lights on the Vegas stripped dimmed on Feb. 15th when she passed, surrounded by family and friends, who she also considered family. She was preceded in death by her husband John of Paterson, NJ. Odette is survived by her loving children. Three daughters, Suanne Thomas (Brian), Elaine Green (Robert), Odette Theresa Kattak and her son Eugene Kattak (Chris). Three cherished grandchildren Kevin, Amanda and John. Sister Evelyn, brother Michael Amara Jr. and sister-in-law Irene and many nieces and nephews. Preceded siblings, Edmund and George Amara. She’s now giving Heaven’s slot machines some action. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, American Diabetes Association or Susan G. Komen.
