

Phyllis Jeanne Hahn, age 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on July 14, 2025, in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Phyllis was the firstborn daughter of Frederic and Irene Dewey. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 23, 1937, and grew up alongside her two younger brothers, Russell and Kenneth.
On June 29, 1957, she married Arthur Peter Hahn in Cook County, Illinois. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised four children: Mary, Peter, Barbara, and Karen.
Phyllis and Art spent 25 years in the U.S. Air Force, traveling the world together and creating a life filled with adventure, resilience, and love. During that time, they made lasting memories and lifelong friendships in each place they called home.
After the passing of Art, the love of her life, Phyllis later found companionship and joy once more with Richard McCrory. Together, they made a warm and loving life in Las Vegas, Nevada. After Las Vegas, she moved to California to be closer to family in her final years.
Phyllis was wholeheartedly loved and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her brothers: Russell (Joanna) Dewey and Ken (Oma) Dewey, and her children: Mary (Don) Lay, Peter (Kim) Hahn, Barbara (Tim) Coolbaugh, and Karen (Mark) Briggs. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Alexandra, Matthew, Adam, Katherine, Thomas, James, Jack, Nicholas, Heather, Kylie, and Scott, and a joyful great-grandmother to her sweet Annie, Poppy, Jack, Nora, Clark, Wesley & Theo. As well as many cousins and nieces and nephews.
A mass for Phyllis will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 9:30am at Guardian Angel Cathedral-302 Cathedral Way, Las Vegas, Nv 89109 with a Memorial Service following at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
