Reese, I cannot believe its taken me this long to write to you. I have held this grief and shock in my heart for a year now. I have yet to meet a person who has met you and wasn't touched by you. Since I was 9, you've been saying/doing something to perk up my day. You were a great friend. I miss you.  I hope that I can spread as much hope and joy to people as you have. You are surely missed.

I am so grateful I had the chance to get to know Reese. I only got to spend a few years with him, but when I think back it feels like it was much longer because he made every day an adventure. Like many have said before there was never a dull moment with Reese. I remember I could not wait to get to school because I wanted to see what Reese was going to do or say. He had so much spirit and lived life to the fullest extent. Even though he died young, I know he smiled, laughed, loved, and touched just as many people as many others get the chance to do in a longer lifetime. I will never forget all the good times we had together. I will miss you Reese.

My heart, prayers and condolences to the Engle family for their loss of Reese. Gilbert Magnet School had the pleasure to meet and love this family.  We had many years with them and they became extended family with Gilbert Staff like so may families do. He will be missed.

Reese, I honestly can't believe that you're gone. I have so many memories with you, just like everyone else that has met you.  You were my first boyfriend, and there was never a dull moment with you. We definitely had our ups and downs, but I can't imagine what my life might be like if I hadn't met you.  You got me my first two ferrets, and opened me up to so many new things. I'm going to miss getting your crazy phone calls every month or so.  You are definitely loved and missed by many.

Hearing that you died was the hugest shock of my life. I'm still in shock, which is the only reason I'm not crying right now. You were just there, and then suddenly you weren't. Being around you was always awesome. You made just sitting around your apartment great. You took simple things and made them exciting. And when I got you and Allen together? Some of the funniest times I've ever had. I know you're taking all the people in Heaven and making them party it up.

reese i never thought i would get a message in facebook about you passing away, my childhood memories were awsome with you and your family.

Reese we have had so many great times. You were one crazy kid. Remember how we used to go to the mall all day everyday? We had nothing to do and nowhere to hang out. I used to take a half hour bus ride to your house and we would be so happy to see eachother! You would play the drums and be SUPER loud and give me a headache everyday but I loved it! you ALWAYS made me smile and you were such a Loyal friend. I miss you so much and I miss all of the great times we used to have. I hope that you with peace with yourself now. Just remember that you are missed down here. Your family loves you. Great smile and a larger than life personality.  Loved the 2006 So. Utah family hiking trip and is one of my best memories with Reese.  Reese was always smiling and wearing a Beatles T-Shirt while taking on the "Peek-a-Boo, Hoo-Doo" hike.  Nearly all Engle family members attended.  Rest in peace, my nephew, Reese.

You were the best big brother anyone could ask for, I remember all the sick times we had together. Never a dull moment with you, always something exciting even if we were just sitting at home. You knew how to bring a smile to anyones face, and I just still can't believe you're gone. I just want to call you, or facetime you so you can show me you're apartment again. I'm so proud of you Reese. I wish I had half the initiative you possessed, I mean look how many people you came in contact with that have such deep feelings for you. I am gonna miss you every day of my life. I love you Reese, and I hope you have found peace.

The Valdez family is very sorry for your loss. We only knew Reese for a short time but quickly found out that he had a very kind heart. He loved my granddaughter Olivia! She still has a puzzle he bought for her and when you ask her who got it for her? She says, "Reese!" He will be missed.

Reese, you were always such an awesome kid. i watched you grow up and have so many memories. you were always the top player in every sport you tried. when you walked into a room you captured everybody's attention and if for some crazy reason you didn't well you would get it with in a couple minutes! your the man. to the whole family. you all are just such an awesome family so close, he knew you all loved him deeply. He will be missed but NEVER EVER forgotten!

Reese, my first born son... words cannot express the sorrow i have. For a beautiful life life cut far too short. No one could ever accuse you of "Not being down...". The world is a much brighter place for having had you as a part of it.

You are the most amazing person I know. I am so fortunate & glad you sat next to me that one day in math class and became my friend, my brother.  You may be gone, but forever you'll be in our hearts.
