Ricardo Caluza Lansang

Ricardo Caluza Lansang, 78 years old, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on July 1, 2023 in Henderson, Nevada.

Ricardo was born in Ozamis City, Philippines to Teofisto Lansang and Angelita Caluza Lansang on June 2, 1945. He went to school in Ozamis City, Philippines. He married Amparo Lansang on October 22, 1977 in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Immaculate Concepcion College. He worked as a clerk for USPS for 28 years. He was an active member in Filipiniana Organization in Sun City.

Ricardo is survived by his wife Amparo Lansang; his sisters Ruth Alinas, and Nora (Alexander) Baclig; his brother Alberto (Nitz) Lansang; his loving cousins, as well as many nieces and nephews who address him as “Tito or Uncle Dodong”.

Pallbearers will be Alberto, Lansang, Albert Lansang, Alexander Baclig, Allen Baclig, Efren Sagun, and Dick Sagun.

The family of Ricardo Caluza Lansang would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring love and support we have received during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for the compassion and empathy shown by our family, friends, and community. Your compassion has provided us with strength and comfort. Your prayers, messages, acts of kindness, and presence have touched our hearts and reminded us of the profound impact Ricardo had on the lives of those around them. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support as we honor the memory of our beloved Ricardo.

A visitation will occur from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123 with Pastor Matt Metevelis officiating.
