Rita Berman, formerly of Northridge, California and a 15-year resident of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014. Born in Staten Island, Rita was selected to attend “The School of Performing Arts” in New York City and continued on to become a successful real estate agent in Los Angeles, California for many years. Kind and caring of heart and deeply involved in the Sun City Anthem community of Henderson, Rita was involved in the establishment of many of the clubs at Sun City. She also served on the Lifestyle Committee and was an active Trustee of the “Foundation Assisting Seniors”, the community’s charitable foundation. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her devoted husband of 62 years, Robert (Bob) Berman; daughter Debra Berman; son Dale Berman; and two adoring granddaughters, Jessica and her husband Shawn Pillar and Julia Berman.
