Rita Ann Wolf

Rita Wolf, 97, of Las Vegas, passed away July. 8, 2025. She was born October 19, 1927, in Leigh, Nebraska. Rita was a legal secretary before she married Dennis Wolf in 1947 and then devoted herself to raising a family of four children. She also had a passion for reading, sewing, cooking, entertaining and enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Scrabble with family and friends. She and Dennis were married for 59 years, until his death in 2006. They lived in Omaha until 1972, when they moved to Minnesota and then retired in Las Vegas in 1988. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis and daughter-in-law, Debora. Rita is survived by; sons, Robert Wolf (Cathy) of Las Vegas, and Martin (Cindy) Wolf of Minneapolis; daughters, Marcia (Gary) Klann of Las Vegas, and Julie (James) Carr of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Lisa Carle, Erik, Brian, Nicholas and Samantha Wolf, Laura Carr and Kristina Pullen; and great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Gage, Quynn, Jordan, Megan, Tyler, Conner, Isabella, Abigail, Zackary and her beloved dog, Benny. Memorial Service will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Interment will follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital for Children.
