Bob was an incredible director and educator. He was a full Professor at UNLV, receiving Professor Emeritus. He retired after his tenure at the university as Artistic Director of the Nevada Conservatory Theater, which he founded.
Bob was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, and "Dzia-Dzia" (Polish for Grandfather), mentor, friend and all around incredibly funny guy.
Bob is survived by his beloved and angelic wife, Sherri; daughter, Kate (Nathan) Gingras; grandson, Jacob; and brother, Richard (Sue) Brewer.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family requests that all donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
He will be sorely missed by his family and friends, but are comforted knowing he is in peace and likely directing his debut in Heaven with an everlasting encore of applause.
