MSgt Robert J. Scoble (ret.)

Robert (Bob) James Scoble, 74, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. He was born in Toledo, OH, on August 7, 1943, to the late Betty Mae (Cook) and Bill V. Scoble. Bob is preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence. He is survived by a loving family that includes his beloved wife of 25 years, Cristina; four children, Carol (Charles) Cowart, Corinne Dorado, Robert (Kristie) Scoble and April Joy (Ryan Moleski) Scoble; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a brother, Bill (Nancy) Scoble; a sister Barbara (Earl) Schmakel; his parents in-law, Maria Consuelo and Leandro Francisco; many nieces and nephews and his youngest boy, Yoda Mann Scoble (his 5 yr old Corgi). He retired as a 26 year veteran of the United States Air Force in 1989 and settled in Las Vegas. He also retired from the State of Nevada in 2003 as a Welfare Fraud Investigator. Bob enjoyed spending his time collecting eagles, travelling with his wife and friends, spending time with family and competing in speech contests with fellow Toastmasters. Bob touched the lives of many people with his smile, generosity and trademark sense of humor. He knew no strangers. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, 6 pm at Palm Mortuary Southwest 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd. (near Buffalo Drive) followed by light refreshments.
