Robert Bernard Sowinski lost his battle with Alzheimer's on November 16, 2016. Although he lost the fight he truly had a life well lived. Robert was born in Buffalo, New Your to Clara and Bernard Sowinski on October 1, 1930. He served his country as a Private First Class in the United States Army during the Korean War. Robert was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 59 years. He was a man who traveled the world, loved sports, music, and reading. He was kind, generous and caring to his family and friends and tho those in need. Robert was preceded in death by his son Mark Sowinski. He was survived by his loving wife Eileen H. Sowinski, his daughter Christina Sowinski, his grandson Jakob Sowinski, "Who was one of his favorite guys in the whole world." His sisters Ruth Micinski and Dorothy Duszynski, neices, Diane, Carolyn, Monika, Terri and nephews Paul and Jonathan, grand nieces and nephew, God children and many friends. He had a smile that warmed your heart and he will be missed by all.
