Elder Rodolfo Cascayan Gumallaoi

Elder Rodolfo Cascayan Gumallaoi Sr., age 66, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Friday, April 7, 2017. Elder Rodolfo was born on August 22, 1950 in Taguiporo Bangui Ilocos Norte, Philippines, to Maria and Cornelio Gumallaoi.

Elder Rodolfo is survived by his devoted wife, Estrella; his six children: Grace, Jess, George, Aurora, MaryAnn, and Rodolfo Jr.; and ten grandchildren: Dennis, Jeselyn, Natasha, Joshua, Jaiden, Micah, Kitana, Mason, Aaliyah, and Luke; and siblings: Tomasa, Erlinda, Carmelina, and Jose.

Elder Rodolfo studied commerce in the University of Pangasinan, Philippines. Later, he attended Miracle Bible College to pursue his passion of becoming a Pastor. In 1980, he migrated to the United States of America to join his parents and other siblings. His wife Estrella and four children later followed.

In 1994, Elder Rodolfo established his first church, Temple of God, located in Delano, California. Six months later, he established another church, The House of the Lord, in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he preached every week. In an effort to continue following his passion of doing the Lord's work, Elder Rodolfo began establishing churches in the Philippines; from Ilocos Norte, to Tarlac, and then to Pangasinan. He also helped others pursue their passion for the Lord's work by sponsoring 14 students through Bible School helping them become Pastors themselves.

Elder Rodolfo was a man of strong faith and a man who loved and served God till the very end. Despite his physical challenges, he remained faithful to his calling. We are forever grateful for his life, his love and his leadership that has made an impact on all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
