It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rollene Lynne Blanford on April 7, 2025, at the age of 83. Rollene was born on May 23, 1941, in Evart, Michigan, to Rollo and Marguerite Smith.
Rollene met the love of her life and beloved husband, Alvey Blanford, when she attended Flint Northern High School. They were High School sweethearts and had been together for 62 years. Rollene was known for her love of music, planting and cultivating flowers, neatness and tidiness, playing a little bet in slot machines, and love and support for her family and close friends.
Rollene worked as a school bus driver for Grand Blanc School District for 21 years, retired and moved to Elk Rapids, Michigan. They then moved and enjoyed the rest of their retirement in Las Vegas, NV.
Preceded in joining the Lord: Mother & Father, Rollo & Marguerite Smith, and her granddaughter, Samantha.
Survived by husband Alvey Blanford, son Darren Blanford, daughter Dawn Sisk, grandson Andrew Blanford, daughter-in-law Eve Williams, sister Linda Gauthier, caregiver Apple Pelonia, niece Sarah, and nephews Rob and Matt.
