Remembering today, the sweet and humble spirit of Ms. Rosa. A wonderful lady that is truly missed.

God bless the family of Ms. Rosa, and may it comfort them to know that Ms Rosa is resting joyfully in the presence of the Lord.

 I’ll always remember in my younger childhood days, my favorite dish mom would cook for us was the chicken and dumplings and her tuna casserole.  I always loved combing her beautiful soft hair,  even in her last days.   She taught us to have a strong belief in God and biblical teachings to carry with us for life.  I thank God for blessing me with some of her inherited talents.  I’m going to miss our outings, listening to jazz , hearing her singing, sharing stories that make her laugh, pampering her with pedicures and manicures, and hearing her say, “goodnight, I 
love you.” 😔.   II Thessalonians 3:16, Love, Pearl

When I sent her these beautiful flowers,  This was the response that I received from her. 

I was blessed to know this Miss Rosa through her daughter Pearl Burwell.  The quality that stood out the most about Miss Rosa was her faith and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.  I remember the times that I visited Miss Rosa in a facility when she started to have memory issues.  We would sit in the common area, where her and the other patients would gather to together to eat and get away from their rooms for a moment, she would start to point out different people that were also patient at this facility and explain that she knew them from the church she attends.  What a blessing for me to know such a women that even being older, and going through memory loss she never forgot about her Lord.

First I want to thank the family for allowing me to have a glimpse into a beautiful life of Miss Rosa Kendricks

I will always remember caring for her and her "doing things" unexpectedly with me like singing and pointing to show me what to do in caring for her and striving to do things herself even in her weakness

She made me smile 😁 surprising all of us with  Her Presence and Strength

Heaven has received a Beautiful Rosa! A wonderful woman, my adopted mother whom I will greatly miss! I will miss her encouraging words and her joyful  singing about the Lord, which made me smile. She loved God and her family.  I was blessed to know Mr. and Mrs. (Rosa) Kendrick because they made me feel as though I was one of their daughters. I soon realized they made everyone feel like a part of their family; such good people! I am happy to know that Ms. Rosa is walking around Heaven with a smile on her face and singing a joyful song  to the Lord!
