Samantha Jade Wang

Samantha Jade Wang, 22, of Las Vegas, went to Heaven on December 16, 2014 from complications resulting from a heart infection. She was born on October 8, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Samantha was a senior at the University of Nevada Reno, majoring in Journalism, and minoring in Photography. She was very passionate about fashion and aspired to be in the Fashion Industry as a Fashion Editor. Through fashion, she was able to express her creative side. She displayed her “Swang” with her personal style blog featuring editorial, health, and beauty advice. Samantha loved to exercise, especially by playing basketball and ultimate Frisbee. Her hobbies also included: reading, shopping, and taking amazing photographs. She was the most giving, selfless, caring, humble, talented, creative, smartest, and sweetest individual to grace our world with her presence. As a ray of sunshine, her smile would brighten up a room.

Samantha will be greatly missed.

She is survived by parents, Jack and Elaine Wang; siblings, Alexander and Kyla; grandmother, Teri Hwang; uncles and aunts, Myron and Tiffany Kwong, and Shane and Sheila Westover; cousins, Dylan and Justin Kwong, and Sophie Westover; and boyfriend, Ryley Hill, all whom live in Las Vegas and Hong Kong. On December 27, 2014: Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm, Funeral Service from 12pm-1pm at Palm Mortuary, followed by Burial Service from 1pm-2pm at Palm Cemetery located at 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123. Father Vic Panaligan will be officiating.
