Sandy spent several decades as the Dispatch Center Manager working for the Yolo County Communications Emergency Service Agency. During her tenure, she was responsible for operations for all law enforcement agencies throughout Yolo County. She later retired in 2017 after several years as the Business Manager for the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she gained many friends who were family to her.
Sandy loved her family. She spent her life devoted to them, beaming over their successes, and ensuring she never missed a moment. She was happiest when she spent time with her Grandkids and Great-Grandkids.
She was a spitfire and always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. Her laugh was contagious and could light up a room, and her heart was as big and warm as the sun.
She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother “Bubbi,” Sister, Aunt, and Friend.
She is survived in life by her Son; Rick Haynes (Pam), Daughter; Shelli Lara, Grandchildren; Jordin (David), Bradly, Christopher, and Mackenzi (Bryan), Great-Grandchildren; Brogan, Greyson, Axtyn, and Hadley, Sister; Brenda (Tim), Nieces; Danette (Chris) and Heather (Peter), Great Nieces Nephews; Wiley, Kylie, Shae, and Tate.
Please join us in celebrating her life at the Holy Rosary Community Center/Church at 575 California St. Woodland, CA 95695 on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 1 P.M.
