To a spirit so beloved its hard to pick just any memory from summers, vacation trips from coast to coast and even canada. You have always been the best at cooking and showing that life should be lived to the max with swimming pool days and party nights. You had a remedy for everything. let me sleep in your bed when i was home sick and putting tea bags to help the swelling from crying. I’m glad you got to meet LilBit, see Lexi and let Presley paparazzi you. He loves his Lita. Thank you for praying to La Virgencita de Guadalupe to help Nino through all his surgeries and life. 

I’m going to miss you! I know you and that can’t ever change, here or in heaven. You saw me when no one else did, you gave us our 1st wedding bands and blessed our lives in more ways that thank you doesn’t seem like enough. No matter we’re the navy sent us you manage to visit us and I thank you for loving my husband as much as you did and he loves you so much. There’s a sadness that will take time to leave our eyes but will never leave our heart.  I know you’re loved by many and know you will forgive those that need to be forgiven after all you always said “mijita deja los aya cada qual al fin ellos tienen que darle cuenta a Dios!” And your so right.  I’m at a loss because of so much loss and you told me God does things and we don’t know why but it doesn’t make it any less painful and I’m hurting for you, pops, Mandy, Ronald and grandma. I’ve never understood  what this lesson is because I don’t understand not one little bit how you learn from loss. I am grateful for you in my life and I will forever hold you in my heart………….…..

Near or far our family is a blessing. Whenever in Vegas, we try to visit family so that our kids can get to know each other and see how grand our family really is. This picture was taken a few years ago, probably the last time we got to see and spend time with Tia Sandra. We enjoyed our evening talking, laughing and creating beautiful memories for the heart. Grandmas fill many roles, but their first role to any child is becoming their best friend for a lifetime.
How blessed of a life I have experienced with grandma, my roll-dawg. I have no regrets with my hoe, I love and miss her everyday. Coming home feels different now; living together for three years sincerely strengthened the depth of our lively relationship. We would have special brownies or rso and order munchies; talk shit about anything and everything. Coming home to her fighting with my cats, cooking in the kitchen, and hyping up my rave outfits  will be some of the things I miss the most. My grandma was my biggest supporter as I  was hers. We truly have a special bond. 
The depth of love my grandparents had for each other gives me so much peace knowing they are together in their forever paradise; they are with me always. 

Mami, I am so happy that I was raised by such a wonderful and strong woman like you. I have learned to live a life full of love  because of you and papi. You taught me how to get up even when I have felt I’ve hit rock bottom and take life head-on with a smile. How you gracefully took lupus and cancer and kicked their ass is something we all speak of and admire knowing you did everything in your power to not let those medical issues get the best of you so you can continue being the daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, tia and best friend you so much loved to be . You have been my role model, inspiration, and strength. You have taught me to help and not hurt people and  to also believe in miracles . These valuable lessons have helped me so much to be a better person every day that I’m alive. It was truly a Blessing to have known you  Thank you for taking time to just talk to me have coffee with you in the morning. I will forever cherish those moments I am just sorry we didn’t have more. Till we meet again. 

It’s been hard for me to write on here because I don’t want to let go but you know that I keep you in my heart and talk with you still. I sit in my car listening to music, close my eyes and picture your beautiful smile and see you dancing. I hear your voice always full of love, wise words and all your support. Thank you for always telling me how proud you were of me as a woman and as a mom and daughter and I’m glad I always go to tell you how much I love you and give you lots of hugs. Dear Sandra, I am so sorry to hear you are gone, but I feel comforted you are resting in peace with our Lord Jesus.  You and I share so many nice memories of our younger years as teenagers back in our beloved city of Guayaquil, with you, your mom and dad, your brothers Jorge, Abelito, JJ (Felix), your then boyfriend Eduardo visiting you everyday on his motorcycle, our neighbors, our friends, and our getting together with my brother Gustavo and my boyfriend Herman playing the guitar, so beautiful moments that will always be in our hearts through eternity when we meet again.
Your frienship was always sincere and caring, recently we enjoyed talking over the phone  bringing back our memories. 
You were so proud of your kids and grand kids.  I can understand their sorrow and beg to God to bring them strength to go through the pain of not seeing you physically but they most know you will always guide them through from heavens, they will never be alone.

From the moment I met her she always treated me as her family. So many memories of hanging out at the house and her making sure we had ate, asking how everyone is doing.  One of the many things that makes her special is that I can honestly say every single memory of her, at some point in the conversation she would say something that would make everyone bust out in laughter, and leave you in shock because it would be so unexpected and hilarious!  It was an honor to know her and to be part of her family. She will always have a special place in my heart, as I am sure she will in everyone else’s that had the privilege of knowing her. This night was a blast. I can still see Grandma and Christina dancing. There was a time when the Esteban Triangle went out of town and left me in charge of checking in on her while they were gone. I went over and she was in the kitchen making me food because she wanted to make sure I ate a home cooked meal. She always thought of everyone else. Her children and grandchildren are a direct reflection of the amazing person she and grandpa were. Dance away beautiful. You owe me a dance still!

I worked at Ethel’s and Sandra worked at M&M.  When I first met Sandra she was always full of life, always smiling.  Enjoyed the mondays after she would go out on weekends and dance and come in and tell me what a great time she had.  I was bad at saying the f word and Sandra took me aside one day and said Linda say mother flower it sounds much better.  To this day I have never forgot that.  I loved Sandra and she will truly be missed.  Rest In Peace my friend.  Until we meet again.

Only God knew how tired my Tia was because to us she had more energy then many of us...she beat some of the toughest battles many of us couldn't bare, but when she was matched with one that had no cure,  God wrapped his arms around her the whole time until she  decided to listen to him that it was time to make his garden more beautiful. We all know he only takes the best, and that you were! The memories with you are endless & we will always hold dearly in our hearts. Thank you for all the good childhood memories you gave all of us.

Thank you for everything. The grand daughter you built is the light in my life. She is strong, independent and fierce. I know she got it from you. I only met you once but I know Jess was proud of everything you were and will continue to push on into the future with you in her thoughts for the rest of her life. To know and live with your grandma is a different kind of love I can only be jealous of. Most of us could only wish for such a strong bond. What a great person to have shared great memories with. I have so many good memories with Sandra… She was a hardworking woman who taught me a lot of lessons in life. I loved when she told me stories about her life, because she had so much love for her family and friends. She always checked on me and my girls, and always gave me advice on how to raise them right. I miss her so much already. She was such a strong woman and I admired her for that. My heart aches so much but she’s in a much better place and not suffering anymore. I thank God for having a wonderful friend like her! She will be missed by many!
