

Sandy was born in Lakeview Oregon in 1952 and moved to Las Vegas in 1954. She graduated from Rancho High School in 1971.
Sandy enjoyed many crafts but scrapbooking and card making were her favorites.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Las Vegas and was actively involved for many years.
Sandy was primarily a stay at home housewife and mother. She worked a short time for Clark County School District as an Aide, and also babysat for many. Sandy was also a volunteer at North Las Vegas Hospital for several years.
Sandy was the beloved wife of Lorry “Lefty” Mott, her high school sweetheart, to whom she was married for 46 years. She was the devoted mother to her daughters, Krista (Josh) Wilgoren of Las Vegas and Karla (Chris) Nowak of Camarillo, CA; Her most cherished role was “Mimi” to her grandchildren, Landon and Lena Nowak.
Sandy was also the loving sister to her 2 brothers, Jim Roper and Bob Roper.
She is also survived by sister-in-laws Stacey Natale and Karey-Jo Molina;
nieces Alisha Roper, Layla Roper, Sierra Torres, Shawna Jones and Kary Michelle;
nephews Jimi Roper, Andrew Natale and Stanley Natale;
great-nieces Paislee and Emerson Roper; and great nephew Clinton (CJ) Jones.
She was also preceded in death by parents George and Treva Roper, and brother Jerry Roper, as well as many others.
Nothing was more important to Sandy than her family and friends. She was at her happiest when surrounded by others. Sandy touched the lives of everyone she met and will be forever loved and remembered for her extraordinary kindness and love of family. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
Visitation Services will be held at Palm Mortuary Eastern on Thursday 4/1/2021 at 4:30pm 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas Nevada 89123 and a Graveside Service on Friday 4/2/2021 at 10:00 am at Palm Eastern. There will also be a Celebration of life will be April 2nd at 2:00 pm ,First Christian Church,101 S Rancho Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89106
