Sherry Lynn Crawford

Sherry was born on October 20th, 1947 in Chicago Illinois. She later moved to Montana as a little girl, and then Las Vegas when she was 15, where she attended and graduated from Western High School.

In 1967 Sherry started her career with the Las Vegas Police Department as a dispatcher. Just a few years later in 1973 she entered the Police Academy. Sherry retired after an impressive thirty year career in 1997 with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Sherry had many passions that she loved to share with those around her. She adored music and was a classical pianist herself. She loved to camp with her family and would often spend weekends on Lake Mead or traveling to California. Sherry was also able to travel all over the country with her champion show dogs.

Sherry’s greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother; we will miss her deeply. We will miss making biscuits and gravy with her on Christmas, her ability to make the ordinary extraordinary, and all our wonderful memories with her. She will always be remembered and loved.

A visitation for Sherry will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Her Funeral will be at 12:00 PM, followed by a Committal service, all at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
