Stu graduated from Long Beach High School in 1965. He then proudly served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969 in Vietnam. After Stu was honorably discharged, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and began a lifelong career in the casino industry. He worked at the Holiday Casino, the Paddlewheel Casino, the CalNeva Lodge in Lake Tahoe, ten years at Arizona Charlie's as a pit boss, then retired from the Excalibur Casino in 2010. Stu was a lifelong New York Yankees fan, and never missed a game.
Stu is survived by his daughter Angelina Brody, brother Alvin (Toni) Brody, and nephew Chris Brody.
A funeral with military honors will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM on Friday, May 17, 2024, at King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120, with Rabbi Simon Bergman officiating. Following the funeral will be a committal service for Stuart at 10:00 AM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
