I met Tamika through my wife, as she was her home health RN. Tamika was always funny and in good spirits despite her health issues. We are glad she isn't suffering and our prayers also go out to Tamiak's long time companion Johnny who was with her through everything.

A month has gone by Tamika and I think about you every day You always had a positive outlook in life. My son Johnny your partner still grieves for you everyday he misses you a lot. I know you are at peace God Bless

Dear Ed, Brandon and family,
It is with great sadness we learned of your loss of a very precious daughter & sister and our loss of a wonderful friend, Tamika.  Having known her since she was a little girl in school, basketball, soccer, Girl Scouts, and community activities, Tamika shines brightly in our heart and memories. We cherish the times shared in all the above activiies and when she dropped in to say hi in her college days when home for a break.  I can still hear her laughter and see that sweet smile.  She will be in my heart forever. 
May the Lord be with you in a very special way in this difficult time and in the days to come.

We met Tamika through her mother Diane Pope who preceeded her in death. We loved Tamika very much and she was a close friend of our granddaughter Tunisha Muse. We knew Tamika to be very smart intelligent a d in receipt of many scholarship awards. We are continuing in prayer for the bereaved family. We loved Tamika but God loved her best and decided to bring her home.

I was really sadden by the passing of my sister Tamika, she was a beautiful lady with a big heart. I now know that she is resting with her mother in heaven. I will always see that beautiful smile of yours.

Tamika was one of the coolest people I met while living in Vegas, she touched my life through conversation and laughter many times and will be missed. The suffering is over, rest in eternal peace..... dear friend.

So saddened to hear of the passing of an angel...... Her generous heart and brilliant smile is how we will always remember her..... she was always a loyal friend to our son, Stephen..... Bless you Tamika ~ and pray that your loved ones find comfort at this difficult time.

Pope family! I'm so sorry for Tamika's passing! What a wonderful neighbor to grow up around! I lived at the top of Stasia (#72) and played whiffle ball with Brandon along with attending SM and graduating the same yr as Tamika! My prayers are with you Mr Pope and Brandon! My Dear Tamika...As I write this, I loved you so much and was especially concerned about you following your mother's death. When I spoke with you on numerous occasions, you were always upbeat and seemed to never allow your health issues to lead you into despair. I prayed for you as I felt in my soul you didn't want to be reminded of the health challenges you were facing. As your mother was about to bring you into the world, your dad was away in the military ; your mother called me to take her to the hospital(Kaiser,SF). I stayed with her until I saw your beautiful face. During your growing up years, you and your brother would stay at my house while your parents were away. My family and I grieve for you but realize you are at rest and peace with God. We will always cherish your memories as a sweet girl who grew into a wonderful young lady. How sad my family and I were to hear of Tamika's passing. I was her soccer coach along with Jamee and my other daughter Ivy was on the team as well. We all loved her so much- she was so unique and fun. One of the sweetest girls I have known. So many of my best memories growing up involve Tamika.  She was a wonderful friend to so many people in all walks of life.  We will never forget her.  My thoughts go to her family.

Tamika and I played sports together and went to school together she was always a true friend and always someone you wanted to be around! I have many wonderful memories of time spent with her! She will truly be missed. My prayers go out to her family !

Tamika was a wonderful friend to me and I will never forget all the fun times we shared throughout our school years.  She was always kind, funny and generous.  Thinking of her and her family.

I got to know Tamika through band in Sinaloa MS and San Marin HS. She was always so nice to me. I never had an angry or a negative word from her. Her beautiful smile is what I always picture when I think of her. Though I haven't seen or spoken with her since our high school reunion, Tamika remains the coolest friend I ever had.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Pope family.  I had the pleasure of growing up with Tamika in Novato and she was truly a warm, sweet, and caring person with a magnetic personality.  She is greatly missed by all of her childhood friends and classmates.  She left huge imprint on everyone she touched.  May God continue to watch over Tamika's friends and family during this difficult time.
