Theo was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Richard Byrns and Ella Thompson, and her brother, Richard Burns.
Theo dedicated much of her professional life to education. She taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as well as the College of Southern Nevada, where she was deeply respected and loved by both her colleagues and students. Her passion for teaching and commitment to her students left a lasting impact on many lives.
She earned her degree from UNLV, where she studied foreign languages, reflecting her lifelong appreciation for learning and culture.
Theo will be remembered for her intelligence, kindness, and the meaningful connections s made throughout her life.
A funeral service will be held on April 1st from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Palm Mortuary, 7600 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada. The spreading of her ashes will take place April 7, 2026 at 11am .
