Thomas served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean War. After is military service, he and his wife resided in Deer Park, Long Island, New York most of his adult life, where they raised their three children. Thomas worked as a sales associate for Piels Brewery for over 20 years, until he retired.
Thomas loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, and barbecuing with his family and friends, and playing dominoes.
Thomas was preceded in death by all of his eight siblings. He is survived by his wife Carmen; and his three daughters: Arline Marquez, Mary Marquez Bell, and Wanda Marquez-Ritter.
Funeral services will be at 10:40 AM at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
