

Ms. Virginia “Ginny” Natividad Chiu, 75-year-old widow passed away last March 15, 2025, after a long battle with end stage Parkinson Disease. Her final moments were spent peacefully at her group home residence in Las Vegas surrounded by her family and close friends.
She was born November 9, 1949, in Tipas, Taguig, Philippines to Dr. Juanito Natividad Sr and Ms. Lydia Natividad. She was married to her late husband, Felino Chiu at age 27.
Ginny completed both her undergraduate degree in Biology and doctorate degree in Medicine at University of Sto Tomas, College of Medicine, Philippines in 1974. After becoming a full-pledge physician in 1975 and 2 years of residency in Pediatrics, she decided that administrative and management work was more challenging for her than seeing young patients. She ventured and became successful in her career working in pharmaceutical marketing and sales for 25 years prior to migrating to America in 2001. Here in the U.S., the last 16 years of her career were spent mostly in education. Equipped with her medical background from the Philippines, she thought basic biology, human anatomy/physiology, and medical billing/coding until March 2018 when she retired at age 66.
Ginny is also a devoted Christian and is known for her prayerful life. She is a prayer intercessor and warrior and will spend hours praying reverently for her family, friends and even strangers whom she meets on various occasions. She is also known for her Sunday preachings at Jesus is Lord Church Henderson and Las Vegas.
Through all the years, Ginny lived a happy prosperous life. She was always thoughtful to others and will be generous in sharing her resources to other people in need. Her smile and joy were contagious that eventually light up someone’s day. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends who she shared the 75 years of her life.
She is survived by her only daughter, Jennilyn “Jenny” Chiu, her brothers- Serafin, Benjamin, and Juanito Jr., her nieces and nephews, most of whom lived in Nevada and brought great joy to her later years.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on April 4 4-8 pm and a Celebration of her Life will be held on April 5 at 10 am. Both will be at Palm Mortuary. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.
