

Walter F. Pribil (Walt) was born on June 1, 1942, in Hawthorne, California to Leta M. and William K. Pribil. Walt grew up in Fresno and then his family moved to Palos Verdes, California. Upon graduation from high school, Walt joined the United States Army where he served his country proudly and honorably for 10 years in Germany, South Korea and the Pentagon.
Walt began a career with Xerox Corporation in Phoenix, Arizona in 1970. He transferred with Xerox to Las Vegas in 1983 and retired after 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sharon D. Pribil; his son, Stuart N. Pribil (Kathy); 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his “little” brother, William B. Pribil (Connie) of Flagstaff, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brent Pribil (Beth).
Walt enjoyed Civil War and WWII history and had a love of aviation, airplanes and travel. He had been abroad and had traversed the U.S.A. He was always an avid student of history.
