Wilfredo "Willie" Villegas

Wilfredo Navarro Villegas, 59 years old, of Las Vegas, Nevada went to heaven on September 23, 2013. He bravely fought cancer for two years. He was born May 23, 1954 in Balanga Bataan to Ricardo and Eufemia Villegas. He was married to Rebecca Villegas. He has three loving sisters Charito Magtanong, Julieta Villegas, and Chita Valdecanas. Willie received a degree in economics at San Sebastian in Manila, Philippines in 1970. He met his soul mate, Rebecca, in grade school in Bataan. They married in 1976 in the Philippines. Rebecca migrated to the United States in 1971 before Willie. They reunited in New Jersey in 1977 and married again a few months later on May 28, 1977. Willie was a successful real estate broker and had been in the business for over 22 years. He was employed by Prudential Real Estate, but in the past he owned two large scale Century 21 Real Estate Offices, and then onto his own business, Villegas Realty in New Jersey. He was known as the difficult sale trouble shooter and the short sale master. Willie loved cooking Italian and Filipino food. He loved working out, swimming, and dancing. He was a loving husband, giving father, and kind friend. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Villegas; his children Cherise Porretto, Richard Villegas, William Villegas; and his grandchildren Dylan and Dawson Porretto, as well as Preston Villegas. Funeral arrangements will be held on September 28, 2013 at Saint Thomas More on Pecos. Willie will be having one last party at his house shortly after the mass.
