CMSGT. William “Bill” Ernest Lonsford, III, USAF (ret). Passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 in Las Vegas. He was born August 26, 1951 in Ft. Worth, Texas and moved to Las Vegas in 2003. Mr. Lonsford retired from the United States Air Force in 2000 after 30 years of service. In his retirement, he worked with Nellis Air Force Base as fire inspector, retiring after 15 years of civil service.
A history buff, he loved reading and enjoyed playing golf, visiting casinos and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Suncha; children: Chong (Sue) Kim and Sumi (Jilmar) Esperanza; grandchildren: Billy, Chloe, Cailyn, Kayla, Daniel and Jadon; sister: Kathy Scott and brother: Chuck Lonsford.
