William "Bill" Louis Lundeen

William “Bill” Louis Lundeen, 81, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Beresford, South Dakota, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at his residence.

Bill was born on August 15, 1944, in Beresford, South Dakota, to Andrew and Florence Lundeen. He graduated from Beresford High School in 1962 and served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1965. On August 21, 1965, he married his high-school sweetheart, Donna Rae Carlson, also of Beresford. The couple moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where their daughters Christian and Kara were born, before relocating to Las Vegas in 1978.

Bill worked for many years on the Las Vegas Strip as a casino dealer and floorman and retired from the Hard Rock Casino.

In his downtime, Bill loved fishing, boating, hunting, playing poker, and — in his own words — making money. These passions reflected his love of being outdoors, his competitive spirit, and the joy he found in creating unforgettable moments with those he loved.

He and his beloved wife Donna celebrated 60 years of marriage. Bill is survived by his wife; his daughter Christian Hastings and her husband Gene, and their children Randi and Travis; and his daughter Kara Harris and her husband Nathan, and their children Elisha and Renee.

A memorial service, with military honors, for William will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123, followed by a committal service at 2:00 PM.
