Laverne Stetka

On April 3, 2011, Laverne Stetka, of Highland formerly of Laurel; She was born in Bowens, MD on January 21, 1928; to the late Edgar and Edna Simmons; Beloved wife of the late Frank C. Stetka, Loving mother of Marilyn Stetka (David Strebe), Frank E. Stetka, Joseph Stetka, Diane Bowers (John), John Stetka, Frances Kolpack, Louis Stetka and Tony Stetka; Cherished grandmother of Valerie, Mark, Frank D., Christopher, Kimberly, Eric, Michael C., Marcia, Michael D., William, Zachary, Taylor, Daniel, Kenneth and Timothy and great-grandmother of Martha and Klara. She was predeceased by one sister in infancy and twin sisters at birth; Also survived by many dear relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Institute for Cancer Research, 1759 R St NW, Attn Memorial Dept, Washington DC 20009.
