On May 19, 2012; devoted wife of the late Ret. Major Alva G. Smoak; loving mother of Rick (Jeannie) Smoak and Bob (Gaylen) Smoak. Also survived by a brother Faye Donley Durbin; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Fleck Funeral Home, on Wednesday, May 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. and where Funeral Service will be held on June 6 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
