Aven Dale Price

Aven Price, age 73, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Saturday, November 29th, 2025 at his home in Lawrenceburg, TN. Aven was born on January 14th, 1952 to the late Ardith Wade and raised by grandparents Willie and Grace Price of Boone County, West Virginia. Aven worked for many years as a wildlife technician across many state lakes in Middle Tennessee. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, being a Popa, and spending time with his loving family and church family. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. He was a member of Midway Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Daysha Chapman; brothers, Phil Price, Ronald Price, and Shirley “Red” Price; nephew, Clint Johnson

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Brenda Price; son, Trenton Price (Karri); grandchildren, Austin Chapman, Aiden Chapman, and Olivia Shea Price; Sisters, Kathy Mott of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Joyce Balentine of Uneeda, WV; half-sister, Marnie Maynard of Quinland, WV, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4th, 2025 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Brothers Randy Kersey and Larry Keele will be officiating.

Interment will be held at Crews Cemetery.
