Donald Eugene Grimsley

Mr. Donald Eugene Grimsley, age 79 of Lawrenceburg died May 28, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. He was a native of Neosho, MO, former manager of Lion's Apartments, Lawrence County Senior Citizens Center, and formerly employed at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home and retired Church Musician. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Shelby Jean Grimsley of Lawrenceburg, TN; four sons, Steven (Lori) Grimsley of Brookfield, MO, Ronald Grimsley of Nashville, TN, Robert (Autumn) Grimsley and Paul Grimsley all of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Leslie (Mark) Cross; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Abild (Robert) of Atlantic, Iowa. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Arlene Grimsley and his parents, Fred N. & Velma White Grimsley.

Graveside Service at Gum Springs Cemetery, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:30 am with and Jim Gardner officiating.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Saturday, June 2, 2012 9 ~ 11 am.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials by made to Habitat for Humanity and American Heart Association.
