He is survived his wife Linda Hayes of Lawrenceburg; two sons Michael Hayes of Tuscumbia, AL and Mark Hayes of Panama City, FL; one brother Bruce Hayes of Lawrenceburg; one sister Laverne Oxford of Lawrenceburg; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Everett Hayes and Wonnie Rochester Hayes.
Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 1 pm with Rick Wade officiating and interment in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 2, 2013 from 5pm ~ 8pm.
