James H. Tatum

James H. Tatum, age 63, was born in Little Rock, AR to Herb and Dorothy Tatum on June 3, 1949. He passed from this life on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at his home in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a retired manager in the United States Postal Service where he served for over 26 years. He was a member of Gandy church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Tatum of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Krista Talbert (Steve) of Columbia, TN; one son Jeremiah Tatum (Amber) of Cookeville, TN; his parents Herb and Dorothy Tatum of Greenbrier, AR; and one brother Mark Tatum (Sherry) of Camden, AR.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Lauryn, Travis, Mark and Matthew Talbert of Columbia, TN. Luke, Daniel, and Lyssa Tatum of Cookeville, TN.

A memorial service for James Tatum will be held at the Northview church of Christ in Columbia, TN on Wednesday, September 12, at 11:00 a.m., with Jeremiah Tatum officiating. The family will receive friends from 8:oo – 10:30 a.m. at the building before the service.

Honorary Pallbearers include: Mark Tatum, Steve Talbert, Travis Talbert, Mark Talbert, Matthew Talbert, Luke Tatum and Daniel Tatum.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request that any donations be made to the Gandy church of Christ mission fund.
